Want to be paid by BACS?The cheque will soon be a thing of the past as we leave the outdated payment method where it belongs in the 20th Century. BACS payments are quick and easy and in most cases free. The subbie gets paid on time, the contactor gets a good payment reputation, as well as the accounts controller being happier not having to deal with 'where is my payment' calls. In the 'My Account' section of MyCX/HX click on bank details and add your account name, number and sort code. TEG admin staff will call you to verify that you are in fact the person that has entered the details. Then if the contractor is on the correct subscription level to have Epay (as above) it should mean a smoother payment process for all.

DirectoryThe directory is a very powerful resource. It is an up to date directory of all members of the exchange. It includes a wealth of information that you cannot find in any other directory either offline or online. Powerful search options permit you to find the company you need quickly and easily. Use the directory to find members local to you and introduce yourself. Use it to find companies that may be able to give you backloads when in their area. Use it to find companies that are situated in areas you travel to regularly to see if there are any mutually beneficial opportunities.

TRAMP (Transactional Mapping Platform) Diary The diary is an online record of all jobs either received or sub-contracted out through the exchange. It also accommodates 'private entries' (jobs you have done outside the exchange but want to enter into one single online diary). It gives you all the detail of the job including the POD details (basic POD details, CX Mobile POD, which includes signature and / or scanned copy of the paper work). If the system has been used to raise an invoice this can be viewed and if desired can be printed off. Both the contractor and sub-contractor can see all the details about the job, except for the 'end-customer' details and price (if entered), which can only be seen by the contractor.

Goods To Move Advertising your GTM on the exchange is quick and easy and allows you to get your jobs covered by accredited members. Whether you use a member that lives local to the pick up point or a member that happens to be returning is your choice. There are good margins to be made either way. By using your extended, 'national fleet' you have every corner of the country covered. All of this is available on every subscription package and means you do not have to pay out for new vehicles and associated costs. It also means available sub-contractors call you with availability and price.

Return JourneysOne of the main features of the exchange - this feature allows you to register your return movements so that the system can work out relevant job notifications to send you as you travel back. From a contractor's point-of-view, it can be used as above when you place your GTM (matches jobs to vehicles) or it can be used to find a suitable sub-contractor that is on a return journey (searching the list). This member can then be called to see if they would like a backload

Regular RunsMost express transport organisations have empty vehicles on runs that they do regularly. Despite the best efforts of transport and network planners, some of these will inevitably either remain empty or under-utilised.. Our Regular Runs solution addresses these issues, by providing your business with a platform to publish these runs and make it possible to find suitable partners to share the cost burden. When you publish your Regular Runs you maintain full control over who can view the details. We also give you the tools to update your trading partners with all the latest changes to your runs, thereby saving time and effort in administering these relationships.
