Accreditation & Star Ratings

See who you're dealing with and post feedback on your courier partners

Each subscriber is required to supply Courier Exchange with the following documentation before going live on the freight exchange system:

  • Vehicle insurance (appropriate for courier work).
  • Goods in Transit insurance.
  • Operators Licence (if applicable).
  • ADR certificate (if applicable).
  • Each subscriber has their own accreditation page, which will list this documentation as being in effect.

We have a panel of specialist courier insurance brokers who will advise you of the correct cover for the courier industry.

Each subscriber is required to supply Courier Exchange with the accreditation documents before going lives on the courier directory.

Why do we have an Accreditation scheme?

Courier Exchange is an active, vibrant trading hub, which for many of our subscribers represents the mainstay of their daily trading activities.

We endeavour to maintain a high standard of professionalism amongst our courier members, and set a standard benchmark for the industry.

The Courier Exchange Accreditation ensures that our subscribers know who they are dealing with, as well as giving them the opportunity to give feedback on their experiences.

Because the star rating is voted by members themselves, the ratings have more meaning and can be trusted by other couriers when it comes to establishing new courier; partnerships.

Improve your reputation among the courier industry and become an accredited CX-member.

Star Ratings - how they work

Once a new subscriber has gone live on the system, they have the opportunity to earn stars through recommendation from their fellow couriers, who they have worked with in some capacity.

The current rating system works by filling in a short online questionnaire, which has a points system behind the scenes. Each rating submitted can only effect a rating by 0.5 stars (up or down).

You can only rate the same courier once every three months.

Rating submissions are validated by Courier Exchange to weed out 'tit for tat' submissions, and any serious comments posted alongside a rating will be followed up with both parties (these are not made public).

If a subscriber feels they have been unfairly rated by another member, they may take this up with Courier Exchange in confidence for further investigation.
